First
I must thank my wife. For over two months she was basically a single
mother,
holding down a full time job, doing almost all of the shopping and
housework, and having to leave her 540iT outside the garage (next to my
E39 M5). This project would not have been possible without her
extensive help.
Next
I thank my parents. Without them I
would not have been in a position to have produced this project. While
there are "sponsor stickers" on
the passenger side, neither the car nor the project have any sponsors
whatsoever. It was entirely self-funded.
Thanks also to the
instructors who taught me at the track and those that built the fine
products used there. BBS, ESS, Ground Control, Hawk, Koni, Leather Z,
Nitto, OC Racecraft, RPI, Speed Ventures and StopTech.
Lastly I
must, of course, thank BMW. I reiterate that my Art Car is NOT an
official BMW Art Car. BMW had no input, authorization or involvement in
this project. They did build a car that captured my heart, and
that ultimately led to the project. |
